Your Christmas gift today helps a child stand strong when everything around them is fragile.
Across Tamil Nadu, children like Mahalakshmi face storms, unsafe homes, low income, and the daily weight of poverty and caste. One crisis can push a whole family back to the edge.
-
£6 could provide a family survival pack
-
£21 could give a child a safe, creative week in a Children’s Hub
-
Or give where the need is greatest
Please give a special gift today. Help a child rewrite the story they were born into.

When disaster strikes, the world rarely notices children like Mahalakshmi. But you can.
Mahalakshmi is 11. Her father died when she was still small, and her mother works long, difficult hours as a sanitary worker — a role she is expected to do because of her caste. Life is already hard. There is no margin, no backup plan, no “just in case.”
Then the floods came last year.
Her schoolbooks were ruined. Her uniform soaked. Her family’s food stores lost. Without help, she would have had to leave school and follow the same path as generations before her.
But supporters made sure that didn’t happen.
They provided food, school supplies, and a safe place where she could learn with dignity.
A small act of kindness protected her future.
This Giving Tuesday, you can do the same for another child standing on the edge of crisis.
