Every year, babies and children in Tamil Nadu are abandoned or orphaned because of HIV. We work through our local partner to prove urgent, sometimes life-saving care.
Children are surrounded with the medical treatment, nutrition, and loving care they need to survive, and to thrive.

Surrounded by care, children begin to flourish. They are encouraged to explore their gifts and many excel in:

Children who once faced isolation discover that they are valued, talented, and full of possibility.
For children without families, once well enough, many are welcomed into loving families, a safe home and lifelong belonging through adoption.
Supporting Parents Too
Whenever possible, our partner works to keep families together. Parents affected by HIV are offered:

Employment on site so they can provide for their children

Practical support and guidance in caregiving

The dignity of raising their own child with professional back-up care when needed
This way, children are not separated from their parents but surrounded by love, support, and stability.
The Challenge:

Without intervention, many would not survive.

Our Partner
DACS (Dindigul Aids Control Society)
We partner with DACS to provide urgent medical care, and as a 'last resort' long-term nurturing home and family to babies and children orphaned or abandoned due to HIV/AIDS. We work with DACS to keep families together whenever it is possible.
